Let’s build a stronger community this holiday season!
Before we get into how we can accomplish this, we want to tell you what and why!
WHAT IS THE FILL THE FRIDGE CHALLANGE?
This challenge is called upon all small business owners to raise awareness and collect donations to the Newmarket Community Fridge!
Organized by The Newmarket Community Fridge and The Newmarket Food Pantry!

WHAT IS THE NEWMARKET COMMUNITY FRIDGE?
A fridge that is designed to facilitate access to nutritious foods and reduce waste!
It is a neighbor helping neighbor initiative to increase access to nutritious food for ALL Newmarket residents!
Food is donated daily by business, organizations, and individuals!
GENERAL IDEA: “Take what you need, and leave what you can!”
WHY TO DONATE?
A child should not guess when their next meal is coming.
Last month, it was recorded that there were 1300 visits to the community fridge and 41% of which were children.
Donating shows that you really care to make a change in the community and improve standards.
IT TAKES ONE PERSON TO MAKE A CHANGE!
This is the current impact of The Newmarket Food Pantry!
16,500 people in the Newmarket community are positively impacted by the Community Fridge.
Without even knowing, this number includes your friends, coworkers, neighbors, and acquaintances.

Pick as many items as you can on this list ->
This can include groceries from the store, unopened packaged foods from the cupboard, fresh produce grown in gardens, sealed beverages, new personal care items, hygiene products, and pet food!
EACH ITEM IS A SUBMISSION TO THE GIVEAWAY!
